Program for Post-Graduate Trainees: Future Academic Clinician-Educators (December 6-8, 2025 – Boston, MA)
This 3-day intensive program, Boston Children’s Hospital & Icahn School of Mount Sinai, and affiliated with the Harvard Macy Institute, is focused on post-graduate trainees (residents and fellows), from any specialty, who seek to enhance their skills and scholarship as future academic clinician-educators. The course content is focused on two major themes: skills in teaching and learning AND developing scholarship in medical education. The HMS Academy Fellowship for Medical Educators
The HMS Academy Fellowship in Medical Education and Scholarship provides rigorous and comprehensive training preparing fellows for an academic career as leaders, innovators, and scholars in academic medicine. This two-year fellowship can support up to six fellows. Participants of the program will:
- Develop and enhance teaching skills for classroom and clinical settings
- Gain expertise in curriculum develop
- Advance knowledge on educational science and theory
- Acquire knowledge and skills to become educational leaders and change agents within academic communities
- Develop expertise in quantitative and qualitative research
- Complete a scholarly project that supports the HMS mission
