  • Graduate Medical Education

    Boston Children’s Hospital strives to set the standard for training pediatric caregivers by offering new and innovative curriculum and systems. The BCH GME department support trainees in learning how to deliver the highest quality and safest care, especially to our patients with the most complex medical needs. We set the caliber of training to achieve the goals of educating and preparing the future leaders in pediatric medicine.

    The Continuing Education Department at Boston Children’s Hospital is passionately committed to improving patient care and safety by providing high-quality, interprofessional education programs to health care professionals across the globe.

  • Professional Development

    The Department of Education promotes development for clinician educators across the hospital through interactive programming, resource sharing, and building communities of health professionals dedicated to educational excellence. Through innovative educational programs like the Academy for Teaching and Educational Innovation and Scholarship and a Teaching Certificate Program, the Department of Education supports education research and scholarship, recognizes and rewards advances in health professional teaching, and fosters recognition of Boston Children’s educators locally and as national and international leaders.

  • Undergraduate Medical Education

    The Pediatrics Clerkship at Boston Children’s introduces medical students to pediatric medicine and provides the opportunity to build skills in the examination of pediatric patients and confidence while interacting with patients and their families.
