Overview

Pediatric Dermatology for Primary Care is designed to teach primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and nurses how to diagnose and manage common skin conditions in children.

In this course, attendees will learn to recognize and initiate treatment of pediatric hair disorders, diaper dermatitis, acne, genodermatoses and other conditions in primary care by experienced board-certified pediatric dermatologists. This course will consist of traditional lectures and interactive case-based discussions.

Course Format 

This course will be fully virtual and presented via Zoom. In addition, it will be available on-demand for all paid attendees for one month after the conference.

Learning Objectives: 

At the conclusion of this educational program, learners will be able to:

  1. Recognize presentations of and treatment options for pediatric hair disorders.
  2. Diagnosis and triage diaper dermatitis and its mimickers.
  3. Recognize features of common genodermatoses.
  4. Implement basic and advanced treatments for acne vulgaris.
