Description

Overview

Today’s pediatric healthcare landscape is marked by acuity, complexity, and unprecedented family need. Accordingly, there has never been a more important time for evidence-based practice models in pediatric social work. Studies across pediatric and adult settings have shown that social work is not just a “supporting” discipline in healthcare, but an essential field for strengthening patient trust, reducing readmissions and poor outcomes, and driving high quality care across populations.

In service to that aim, Boston Children’s is hosting its first ever conference built by social workers for social workers, rooted in evidence, driven by outcomes and grounded in the lives of those we serve: children and families. Together, we will affirm our shared commitment to changing lives through translated research and actionable strategies to elevate care in your setting. Whether you are a student, a healthcare provider, social worker or healthcare leader, this conference will offer you a chance to sharpen your research and leadership acumen and push the field forward into new frontiers.
