In this presentation, Dr. Stephanie Donatelli explains the definitions of seizures and epilepsy and describes the work up, recurrence risk, and treatment considerations for new onset seizure. This presentation was recorded for the Michael J. Bresnan Neurology Course on Sept. 16-20, 2024.

1. Develop an approach to the diagnosis of first-time seizure and other paroxysmal spells
