Department of Ophthalmology| Fellowship Candidates
Although we cannot meet you in person this year, we want to provide the most meaningful and informative interview experience possible, while complying with current health and safety guidelines. The following videos showcase Boston Children’s Hospital, the Department of Ophthalmology, and the fellowship experience.
In the video below, you will take a virtual tour of Boston Children’s Hospital, including areas most heavily utilized by trainees- although the Department of Ophthalmology is not shown, many of the spaces featured are similar throughout the hospital.
Two of our main clinical sites are Boston Children’s Hospital- Main and Boston Children’s Hospital- Waltham, which is a short drive from the main campus.
In this video, Dr. Iason Mantagos, Program Director, gives an in-depth review of the clinical and surgical aspects of the program, as well as our faculty members and expectations of fellows.
Mass Eye & Ear is one of the sites frequented by our fellows for clinic and OR- take a tour with PGY3, Ines Lains. As a fellow, you will work with residents just like Ines from the Mass Eye & Ear and Boston Medical Center residency programs.
Many of our current faculty members are alumni of the fellowship program, but we also have a strong presence around the world. In this video, you’ll hear from a few former fellows, as well as an important public service announcement.
