Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this educational program, learners will be able to:
  1. Characterize Functional Neurological Symptom Disorders (FNSD), its different symptom presentations, overlap with pain syndromes, and biopsychosocial contributors.
  2. Discuss diagnostic assessment including rule-in physical signs and assessment of psychiatric comorbidities.
  3. Describe behavioral and pharmacological treatment approaches.
  4. Increase confidence and expertise in diagnosing, managing, talking to, and supporting patients and families.
