Dr. Jonathan Levin reviews the history and challenges for RSV vaccine development. Dr. Levin also discusses the evidence and indications for the maternal RSV vaccine; explains the evidence and indications for nirsevimab (anti-RSV mAb); and specifies the practical issues around implementation of nirsevimab in the NICU setting.
Bronchiolitis and RSV (33 min.)
Dr. Jonathan Mansbach discusses RSV seasonality and post-COVID epidemiology. Furthermore, Dr. Mansbach explains that bronchiolitis is more than RSV and that it is a heterogeneous condition. Dr. Mansbach also discusses the use of oximetry in the context of respiratory evaluation and that the clinical course of RSV is variable.
