This program provides training in the interpretation and application of the 2017 National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease (NIAID) Prevention of Peanut Allergy (PPA) Guidelines. Topics covered include eczema characteristics and categorization, risk stratification and feeding recommendations for the prevention of peanut allergy in infants, and practical implementation of the 2017 PPA Guidelines.
This program was created with educational grant funding from the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (AAAAI). The video presented within this program was created in collaboration with the Food Allergy Research and Education (FARE) organization, as part of the Intervention to Reduce Early (Peanut) Allergy in Children (iREACH) study funded by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease (U01AI138907). There were no commercial funds used in the production of this program.

Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of this educational program, learners will be able to:
- Classify severity of pediatric eczema based on description and/or pictures.
- List the three recommendations for early peanut introduction for the prevention of peanut allergy based on risk stratification as outlined by the 2017 PPA Guidelines.
- Apply the 2017 PPA Guideline recommendations to fictional patient cases.
