In this presentation, Dr. Margaret Stefater-Richards gives an update on hypoglycemia in pediatrics using the physiology of glucose metabolism across the developmental spectrum from fetal life through childhood to drive the discussion on pathophysiology. Furthermore, Dr. Stefater-Richard focuses on the etiology workup and treatment of the most common causes of hypoglycemia seen in primary care practice.
