SIMPeds

Since 2001, Boston Children’s Hospital Simulator Program (SIMPeds) has focused on perfecting an inextricable link between preparedness and high quality, high volume pediatric care, as a quality improvement resource, preparation and testing system.

Pediatric Physicians Organization at Children’s

The mission of the PPOC is to enhance member pediatricians’ ability to deliver the highest quality patient care to the children they serve. In addition, the PPOC will improve the professional satisfaction and operational effectiveness of its members.

Institute for Professionalism & Ethical Practice

An interdisciplinary educational initiative dedicated to cultivating relational competence in health care.  We specialize in developing and conducting innovative educational programs and interventions focused on difficult conversations occurring across a wide range of settings in pediatric and adult medicine.

Facilitates the career advancement and satisfaction of Harvard Medical School (HMS) faculty at Boston Children’s Hospital, fostering careers of all junior faculty, and increasing leadership opportunities for women and minorities.

Physician Relations and Outreach

The Physician Relations and Outreach (PRO) team is dedicated to creating an exceptional experience for primary care physicians and other members of a patient’s care team when they work with Boston Children’s Hospital. 

Nursing

Boston Children’s is proud to have first achieved ANCC Magnet® designation in 2008 and to have been awarded re-designation in 2012. Only 7 percent of hospitals in the U.S. are Magnet designated.

Pharmacy Residency Program

The PGY2 Pediatric Pharmacy Residency Program at Boston Children’s Hospital is a postgraduate educational and training experience designed to develop pharmacists with expertise in pediatric pharmacotherapy.
