Overview
Trust is at the heart of every patient–clinician relationship, and nowhere is it more essential than in conversations about vaccines. Parents and patients often come with questions, concerns, and personal beliefs that can make these discussions challenging. This course is designed to equip clinicians with practical communication strategies that foster openness, address hesitancy with empathy, and build confidence in vaccination decisions. Through evidence-based approaches and real-world scenarios, participants will learn how to navigate difficult conversations, strengthen trust, and support families in making informed healthcare choices.
Course Format
Join us in person at the Conference Center at Waltham Woods, 860 Winter St, Waltham, MA 02451.
Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of this educational program, learners will be able to:
- Describe evidence-based communication strategies for addressing parental and patient concerns about vaccines.
- Analyze approaches for fostering trust and open dialogue in vaccine-related conversations.
- Develop practical techniques to support informed decision-making and increase confidence in vaccination.
